Whirlpool LSR7233EQO washer makes grinding noise when spinning empty and loaded with wet clothes, knocks badly no matter how well balance the load. 11 yrs old.
Ideas as to why?

GuruThat is usually a sign that bearing needs to be replaced. Not an expensive part as much it is complicated operation.
