Question about Intel Motherboard
2 problems, if you could please help!
1st, The SWX-66 (Power Swith) Board is not labeled any other way other than 1-8. How do I know which one goes to:HDD, LED, PWR, RST, SPKR, or PWR LED?
2nd, THE CNX-138 (USB) Board has a couple of plugs on it. Can you tell me where in how they go?
I would appreciate an e-mail back at firstname.lastname@example.org, this is really the first time I ever had to put a computer together, especially with out a manual, or much help from Sony Tech support. If curiosity has got you in to wondering why the computer is in the condition it's in: Simple, It was donated here to the Ministry in which I volunteer at. Thanks for your time and answers, God bless. -Roy
Hi normally the pin headers are color coded as follows - green&white for power LED (2or3 pin), red&white for HDD LED,blue&white for Reset Button ,Yellow/orange&white for Powerbutton. On the power switch board the EVEN numbered pins are on one side and the ODD numbered pins opposite -
1 3 5 7
2 4 6 8
A speaker connection is not required because of on-board buzzer. So the connections are for PB , PLED,HDDLED ,RESET. A wrong or reverse connection will not damage your mobo.
