The front and rear legs turn but do not adjust height. The sockets the thread into appear to be rotating with the legs. How do you access the leg sockets to repair/replace them? Thanks, Paul H. Ajax, On

Hello,

The way out of this is to carefully unscrew(open) the screws from the back of the range with the basic tools for it ,then take out the back cover then you will fine the screw at the angles use as key on the legs closer to the wire connected to the element ,then remove it carefully if needed.

please not you most be very carefully with other wire connection while carry out this assignment in order to avoid more damage on the range.
hope this help in solving the problem.

thank you.

Can you adjust the height of the KID60B14 dishwasher?

Hello Jane!

Remove the bottom kick plate on the front of your unit. There should be screw-adjustable legs on each front corner with a toothed wheel. Find a lever and suitable jack point on the frame to raise the unit to desired height and if the adjustment legs are not "frozen" you should be able to turn them with your fingers.

If they won't turn easily, apply some light oil or WD-40 and let it work on the corrosion for a few minutes and try again. If the adjusters are jammed, you may need pliers to turn them.

You may also go straight to pliers without raising the unit first, but the adjustments are more difficult since you are lifting the entire unit.

How do I adjust the leg height of my drafting table?

There should be screws/knobs at the table base. I've also seen these at the front legs of the table. You have to loosen the knobs, adjust the height and then tighten the knobs once you are happy with the height.

Leveling kenmore elite front loader

  • Place the level on the top of the washing machineicon1.png to see if it is level. Make sure you test it side to side and front to back.

Pull the washing machine away from any walls if you have to make an adjustment to the legs.

  • Lift the washericon1.png and place the wood block underneath the washer. Place the block near the leg that needs to be adjusted, but don't let it obstruct the leg.

  • Loosen the nut that secures the legicon1.png with the wrench.

  • Raise the height of the leg by twisting it to the left, or lower the height by twisting it to the right.

  • Remove the block of wood from under the washer and recheck the machine with the level.

  • Raise or lower the leg if additional adjustments are needed.

  • Tighten the nut on the leg with the wrench when the machine is level.

  • Repeat the process for each leg that needs to be adjusted.

  • Move the washer back into position and check with the level again to make sure the washer remains stable to finish leveling the machine.

We are installing a dishwasher--have it hooked up but can't seem to get the leveling legs loose so we can adjust the height. Also, the anchoring peices of metal stick out farther than our countertop.

Hello, This dishwasher has the ability to be mounted to the cabinets on either side of the dishwasher.the mounting brackets can be moved to each side. If it must be mounted to the counter top, the mounting tabs can be bent by hand and it will break the front part of the mounting tab. This will shorten the mounting bracket. If you have granite counter tops do not attempt to drill into to the granite counter call a granite fabicator. The leveling feet are hexagon shaped at the top of the of the leveling leg. Remove the front lower toe kick panel. This will allow access to the top of the leveling legs, then use a small cresent wrench or a socket and rachet.Hope this helps.Joe Connolly

Don't have the directions to put evenflo exersaucer together, need help. Is there somewhere I can get the directions? reg. number 07T-0538604

    Instructions
      • 1 Place the large, round base on the floor. The outwardly curving edge should be facing downward.
      • 2 Attach the three pedestals to the base. To do so, insert your finger into each pedestal and loop the spring within around the hook found on the base in the appropriate holes. Insert the three plastic tabs on each pedestal into the base, locking them into place.
      • 3 Press the wider end of a lower leg assembly onto each pedestal piece. By wiggling the lower leg assembly side to side, you will eventually snap the pieces into place.
      • 4 Hold the seat ring in your lap with the open edge facing upward. Press each of the six wheels into the wheel holders around the edge of the seat ring. Each wheel will snap into place when positioned correctly.
      • 5 Insert the cloth seat into the seat ring, aligning the diamond on the cloth seat with the triangle on the seat ring. Each plastic tab lining the edge of the cloth seat attaches to a peg on the seat ring. Snap these connections into place.
      • 6 Hold the Exersaucer tray on its side and press the seat ring into the center. Once the seat ring snaps into place, it should be able to spin in place.
      • 7 Attach the three spring caps to the Exersaucer tray. These spring caps cover the three large holes in your tray, and are attached by a firm clockwise twist.
      • 8 Attach the upper leg assemblies to the upper leg crowns. These crowns act as the "socket" and the upper leg assemblies act as the "ball." By pressing them together with a click, the upper leg assemblies can twist and rotate in place.
      • 9 Turn the tray upside down and press each upper leg crown base into the round holes in the tray with a firm twist. Each upper leg crown features a height adjustment hole, which will face outward when properly attached.
      • 10 Turn over the tray so that the upper leg assemblies are facing downward. Insert each upper leg assembly into a lower leg assembly, being sure to pull away the height adjustment tab to allow the assemblies to slide together.
      • 11 Press each toy into its respective port on the surface of the tray. The toys each have a distinct base, which clicks into the correspondingly shaped tray port

Back legs have collapsed; washer is tilted

They should unscrew from the bottom of the leg - if the washer "sank" it likely stripped the threads, and you will have to adjust it manually.

    Spins off balance

    Hello kel_lyn_eve,

Because your washing machine is so heavy, when it's not level, it can vibrate strongly during the spin cycle. If your washing machine is not perfectly level--with all four legs touching the floor--it can bang and rock back and forth, and even begin to "walk" across the room. This isn't good for the machine and may damage anything near the machine.

Your washing machine has adjustable, front leveling legs with a lock nut. You adjust the leg to the proper height, then tighten the lock nut up against the body of the machine to keep the leg from rotating.

Some machines have adjustable leveling legs in the rear also, and you can adjust them in the same way. Keep the machine as close to the floor as possible--the lower it is, the less likely it is to vibrate.

Most machines, however, have "self-adjusting" rear legs. You set these legs by tilting the entire machine forward onto its front legs (with the rear legs 3 to 4 inches off the floor) and then setting the machine back down. The legs should adjust automatically. If they don't, you may need to tilt the machine forward and rap on the rear legs with the handle of a hammer to loosen them--a procedure that's easier to accomplish with a helper.

Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

P.S. – I would greatly appreciate a FixYa! rating if the solution I provided fixed or helped you fix your problem.

    Thank you for using FIXYA!
