Question about Euro-Pro Shark Steam Mop - Gray/ Purple Vacuum

The extra large mop head attachment will not release steam. It seems to be clogged, and the steam escapes above the head attachment. How can this be resolved?

Hi,
I saw this post, so I had to go and checkout my wife's shark....
If you pull the attachment off and look inside you will see that there is a small hole that the steam travels through into the flexible hose with the spring around it and then on to the head and out the smaller holes...
Now if the first hole gets plugged then no steam will get through to the head...however if there is something stuck in the hose or the smaller holes in the head are plugged it still could act the same...
So, first look right inside and check that out, then if that is okay, take out the four screws that hold the swivel into the head...then you can take out the last two screws holding the swivel to the head...
This will allow you to blow back through the hose to make sure it is not obstructed or to blow the dirt back out...
If that is open the take a tooth pick or some small like that and open the holes in the head....blow through the head to make sure that they are open and then replace everything back like it came apart...

Now the steam should be going out the head like it was intended...

It sounds like the head could be clogged up. Try running water in the head and see if that works

My steam pocket mop seems clogged. Steam does not come out of the mop head. The clog appears to be in the rectangular mop head. The triangular head still works fine. I've tried soaking it in hot water...

I had the same issue with the rectangular mop and corrected it by disassembling the tube from the rectangular piece. There are two screws that will need to be removed in order to get access to the connector. Once the connector is removed from the rectangular piece you will need to **** out the clog. I used a small drill bit and was able to do this without attaching the bit to a drill. There is a slight angle to the connector which causes the clog to occur. The total job took about 45 minutes to accomplish. I could have purchased a replacement for $21.95 but thought I'd take a shot at fixing it. Hope this helps.

I have a shark steam mop s3202 and it seems to be clogged - no steam. I hear if you put white vinegar in it it should help unclog it. Are you suppose to let it sit awhile. Should it be plugged in?

My Shark seems to be clogged, and steam will not come out. I know that it is making steam due to the pressure, but it will not come out of the mop part. How can I clean it to get the mineral deposits out?
