Question about GE AJCQ08ACB Air Conditioner
The issue with your Air Conditioner can also be due to thermostat failure or due to a blown fuse. The thermostat is connected to the compressor. It won't cool if thermostat is bad.
The usual terminals on thermostat are--

The Btu size of this AC is 6,000 BTU.The air filter behind the front grille should be checked and cleaned.If the water is getting collected in the pan and not draining automatically then the drain line has to be checked.Also it can be the defrost system problem.As you mentioned that fan is not running at all then fan motor needs to be checked.If it got wet and short caused due to that.If motor checks out ok then the compressor itself can be the other possibility to be checked.The compressor should kick on,if its not starting then it can be short.
