Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: doesnt work

If you bought your mp3 player less than a year ago or if you bought a warranty then just contact sandisk and they will fix if for you if they can and if they cant then i think they will just replace it for you.

The mp3 player is frozen once it turns on. Keeps on saying refreshing your media.

Press and hold the power button. Hold it long enough (10 to 15 seconds ) it will eventually turn the frozen player off. Press the power button again to turn it back on. You can try formatting the player again either through windows media player or (if a v2 model) through the player's own menu system. Failing that, put the player in MSC mode and format it from Windows Explorer. I would also update the firmware. I have attached the link to the Sansa site to find the firmware and further instructions.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Just recevied SanDisk Sansa e200 MP3 Player. I thought I could download a pdf file of the user guide. I seems this is not possible. Where can I find a PDF version of the user guide? Mario

You can find the e200 manuals here:

http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4487#e200

Note that there are two different manuals; one for the v1 model, and another for the v2 model. You can determine which version you have by going to the Settings menu on your Sansa, then "Info". If the number of the firmware version in the top line starts with an "01", it's a v1 model. If it starrts with an "03", it's a v2 model.

I have SanDisk sansa E250 mp3 player. I am unable to switch it on. When I connect it to computer nathing happens. Please help

Hi there and welcome at Fixya, the support team (lfete)

What operative system do you have on the computer !??

First :O), you have to load the batteries full, just put the mp3 player to your computer and leave it over night (use the cable)

2. For turning the mp3 player on you have to press the on button for about 5 seconds

Then !! when the MP3 player is still inserted in the computer it should install the drivers by itself IF NOT then try to read this post here :
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/42
OR! you need to download the drivers manually, see the next step

3. you need some drivers to transfer the music/video
you can get them here :
http://www.sandisk.com/sandisk-support/driver-download-wizard.aspx

You can get the manual here :
http://www.retrevo.com/search/v2/jsp/mytrevo/myTrevo.jsp?page=man

the homepage is here:

Hope it helps
IF NOT then try to return here

Have a nice time over there

I cannot play songs form my 4GB SD card

If it is v2 then it should not be a problem but v1 models can only support 2gb UNLESS you install rockbox firmware which can be found at http://www.rockbox.org/ and this will allow v1 models to play more than 2gb cards but this only works on v1 models so if you have v2 then this want help. But this sounds like you have a v1 model since its not playing.

Sansa Media Converter doesn't find my device (c240)

Ok, after much gnashing of teeth, it turns out my R and many folks v2 players need the Media Converter V2 software.

The back of your player has the model number if it has a v2 after it you probably need the v2 of the converter software.

I can't confirm it, but I think the big clue is that in your settings on the player, you will not have the USB Mode in the Settings menu, just a "Mode" option.

I don't know where to officially get the v2 of the converter software, but here is a link to it I found on a forum, clamWinAV said it was virus free, but obviously who knows, but I ran it on my machine and it sees my player just fine:
