It could also be your cd player. depending on how old it is the resolution of the newer cds might not be read.

Question. Is it not playing anything or is it not plaing within 500-2500Hz?

Do you have the exact model number of your machine?

If it does wind up it is the mechanism, you could put in a new one
with minor modifications.....

Didn't ask, is the cd spinning??????

What brand of bland cds are you using? Maybe you can try a different brand. I know Alpine has trouble reading some brands of blank cds, such as sony.

C.d player doesnot play

Hi.

Not all in-car stereo are compatible with computer recorded CD.

Try setting Roxio to "Close Disk" and "Close Session" or "Disk at Once" (try all) while recording the CD on PC.

If that does not work, then the stereo is not compatible with recorded CDs.

Regards.

Getting a bit old, perhaps time for a new laser unit. Unsure of price, may be better to buy a new player. get a quote.

I have just brought a new pack of blank CD's, i am

Its a common problem with CDs. Check that your CD drive can PLAY CDs. If so either the CD drives optical head is dirty or your CD pack are low quality. CDs damage real easy. Try putting another CD, another brand or you must use CD doctor-something like that. Did that help
