Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
To fix this problem do the following:
1. Click on the start button and select Run option.
2. In the Run box type in services.msc and click Ok
3. This will open the serivces window and now search for AOL email service and when you find it Right-click on it and select Properties and in the start up box select disable.
So this will disable the service and you wouldn't get it on the screen.
