When 24 HP Intek gets hot it stops running until it cools down. I changed plugs and air filter but it still shut down after about 20 to 25 minutes of running.

Is the tank itself clean? Gas can contamination, paint chips, etc., can plug the tank fuel outlet. This engine has a fuel pump too, does it not? Believe if so, it runs off engine vacuum. Check that system. What do the spark plugs look like? They can look good, yet be failed too.
A few other "simple" thoughts.

Good luck

Oil in air cleaner

Run it minus an air filter until all the oil is off your piston head, you can also try keeping the plug out and ejecting the oil via that access by pulling the cord. It seems like you've already solved the problem, now you're just cleaning up.

After my dryer runs for about 20 minutes, gets hot, it shuts off. It will not go on again until it cools. ???

There may be insufficient air flow through the machine and the over-temperature thermostat operates shutting down operation. Vacuum out the exit hose, the outside exit vent, the lint filter area, and as far as you can reach into the machine's air passages. Wash the lint filter in detergent and hot water to remove fabric softener deposits which block air flow. Hope this helps!

Motor stops after heated up

Try and blow out the air finns with a air hose. and just blow all around it so it can get air to threw the air finns. do it while its cool and you can use a garden hose. Don't go crazy and hit the fuel tank air filter no more than you have to. I use air first than hose, Then air once more. let it set about two hours and fire it up.
I hope this will be of some help.

Dump the fuel in the tank, get new gas and new oil and start over. Get a carbeurator cleaner additive for the gas as your carb. is dirty resulting in the sporatic operation.

A spray carb. cleaner that you squirt into the air intake by removing the air filter will also work for you. In fact, when you are getting the carb. cleaner get a new air cleaner and a new spark plug. get back and let me know how u make out.

Lawn tractor mower stops running

I have had problems with my mowing equipment. After 15 minutes the mower would die then when cool it would run again. I changed the plug, the gas, the fuel filter, cleaned the air filter, and changed out the magneto coil, none of which fixed it. I removed the fuel solenoid from under the carb and nipped the end off the plunger with snips. That fixed it. The function of the solenoid is to kill the gas when the key is shut off. Near as I can tell the solenoid was going out when hot and working while cool. You cannot just defeat the solenoid by unplugging it because that releases the spring loaded pin and the pin shoves the float up and therefore kills the gas. I had to either spend $50 on a solenoid or nip this problem in the bud. Nipped the plunger and all is well. I posted the solution with photos HERE.
