Question about Medion MD-40954 Notebook
You need to remove all the screws from the back also, then remove the cover to the rear on the bottom and remove the wireless card (make note as to connection colours) and there is 2 (I think) screws under there, then one also under the battery, then the whole top opens up.
Make sure you have removed all screws from the bottom case, including the four under the rubber feet at the rear.
This was the most awful laptop I have ever worked on!

Medion note book wim 2160/md96290 have since an update in vista problems with my usb ports, does not recognise hard ware i plug in any more cant find hardware whats plugged in inc wifi dongle/mobile internet,"cant find the modem" any suggestions how to get my usb ports back to normal answers to firstname.lastname@example.org

I have also tried this and it won`t slide forward
Feels like its got a screw underneath the keyboard holding it up?

You have to take the laptop apart by removing all the screws from the base of the laptop, turn it over open the screen, the whole of the keyboard top including the touch pad slides forward, then take off the cpu fan, and put in your upgrade ram, assembly reverse of disassembly, good luck
