Hello,

You have posted your question under Sony Routers. Can you tell me the exact make and model of your Sony device and your computer as well? If this is a laptop, usually, you needed to press a certain Function Key. Also, try restarting the computer with the Sony device already started and plugged in.

Please let me know how this goes. Thank you for using FixYa.

Okay , are you using windows 98 , xp , vista or window 7 on the laptop you are using to do the presentation?

  • Stephan Reichert
    Stephan Reichert Sep 03, 2010

    Okay

Turn off your laptop , remove the projector , start up windows and only then plug in the projector again.

Turn on the projector and wait for it to show the desktop on the screen.
Now , right click on a blank space the desktop and select screen resolution.
This should now bring up the following screen :

There should be two screens displayed like the example above. Now click on the multiple displays drop down and select Duplicate these displays.

This should enable video on both the laptop and the projector.

Let me know if this works or not as there are some other options available.

    Kind Regards
    StephanSA

Also , if it doesn't work , please send me the model number of the laptop as there is a Fn key combination for this specifically , but I don't know what it is as I don't know what laptop you are using. Look on the bottom of the laptop for the model no if you are unsure.

Could you please clarify. I need to know more about your problem so that I can help you. When you say "I get picture in screen but not in my computer,...." I can't understand anything with it. Another confusion is that your problem posted in Sony Routers category but it seems you are having different problem, not related to the router. Do you mean, you can see the photo/picture on the internet browser or website and you want to download them?...

Awaiting.

Thanks a lot.

Thers a name factory in the screen

Hi!
With your camera or cell phone, take a picture and then download it to your computer. It's easy: Connect the camera to the computer with the supplied USB cable. When you successfully "hook it up", a menu will automatically appear on your computer screen asking you what you want to do. Select the "Transfer" option to dump the image into "My Pictures" library. Just follow the directions, and your picture will be saved to your computer, permanently.

Now press the file folder icon usually located at the bottom of the computer screen and go to either "Pictures" or "My Pictures", and visually look for the picture that you just downloaded. Double-click on it. After it appears, right-click on it, and select: "Set as desktop background".

Now you will have a new "Wallpaper" to look at when you first turn on the computer, or you close out ALL of your active programs.

So, does that help?

When I connect it to the computer I can view all folders but the screen on the device is not projected the picture

While the frame is connected to a computer, the screen will be inactive. The purpose of connecting it to a computer is only to move files from your computer to the drive on the frame. Once you eject the frame from the computer and turn the frame on, the screen should come back on.

How to get Photos From memory card to computer

  1. Hi
  2. Plug your Samsung mobile phone's USB flash cable into the phone and into the computer's 2.0 USB port outlet. When the computer detects a USB connection, a notification screen will appear in the lower right corner of the screen, above the task bar. The phone's software driver will be automatically installed to your computer's hard drive.
  1. Import your pictures to your computer. Click on "Import Pictures" when the "AutoPlay" dialog window pops up. Close the "AutoPlay" window to configure the import settings.
  2. Choose a gallery title for the pictures you are importing. When the blank data form appears in the bottom right corner of the screen, type a name for your gallery in the data form. Click on the "Import" button to begin the downloading process.
  3. Remove the Samsung USB flash cable from the computer and then from the mobile phone. Click on the "Start" menu icon, then select the "Pictures" tab folder. Your newly imported pictures should be stored in this folder. Please Rate this solution. Regards.

The LCD screen comes on but is blank. Cannot take or retrieve pictures.

Hello my friend,
Did you drop the camera ?
Basically this can be Lens broken or screen broken. you can check that by:
1. try to move your hands around the lens and see if it will change something. 2. take a picture even tough the screen is blank and then take the memory card and insert it into your computer, if you can see the picture on your computer that means the screen is broken. but if you cannot see the picture on PC that means the Lens is broken.
