Question about Homelite Mighty Lite Lawn Trimmer
Yes, its a do-it-yourself deal. They have fuel line kits at Home Depot and at the small engine shops. They use what they call "tygon" lines now. Remove old lines. One of them should have an in-tank fuel filter on the end. You can use needle nose pliars or even twezers to reach into the tank to grab. The fuel lines themselves seal the holes in the tank. No sealant is used. Cut new lines long and angle cut an end. Start that cut end thru the hole in the fuel tank and push it in slowly until there is enough to grab. Cut filter line lone enough so that it will move around on far side of tank, then put fuel filter on its end. The other line you shove into the tank will be pulled back thru and cut to a length aboutm 1/2" or so...it should have some type of little nylon connector on its fuel tank end to hold it in the tank . Good luck. Please vote on this solution.
