Go to the following link, and select the "Drivers and Downloads" tab. The S50 user guide should be listed, and downloadable in PDF format:

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hi i've been given a canon power shot s50 camera, but with no instruction manual, how can i aquire one , thank you, regards Roy.

Here is a link to a free downloadable user manual,no pop ups either.I use this site all the time because it has a wide variety of products, and the best range available as far as discontinued items, which yours seems to be.Once downloaded,it will keep your records from downloads without having to sign up for anything.Bookmark the page for future references and if you print it,play with the sizes at the top of the download by adjusting the % for the best size for you.If you go too big,it may cut off some of the info.Good luck,Greg

I found a canon power shot camera but need a manual and charger.

You can download manuals here. Also, if you click on the tab marked "Supplies & Accessories" (center of page), you can see the part number for the charger, and order one from Canon if you want.

I have a canon Power Shot S50. The mechanical slider that covers the lens is loose. When I open it, it doesn't power up the camera. I suspect there is a switch underneath the cover is broken.

The open door button on a circuit board is usually micro. A loose cover will likely not make contact with this small switch. Take the cover off and tighten the screws on the inside. Try to locate the switch to inspect if it has been wore off, broken, or missing even.

Canon sliding lens cover door

I have been having the same problem. Once opened, the sliding door will not close and the lens won't retract. But I have found that if you plug the camera into a computer via a USB, the lens then retracts enabling you to close the lens cover.
I'm still trying to find a way to fix this problem, since this is a great camers and still takes fantastic pictures.
