Hello, I would be happy to provide you with some assistance with your issue, I will however need to ask you several questions in order for me to correctly provide you with the help that you will need to resolve this problem. So my first question is in detail describe how you are arriving at the blue screen ? Is it directly from pwr up? Does anything appear on the screen at all before you get a blue screen ie.... a millisecond flash of bios controls? Have you ever had the internal of the computer cleaned by a professional ? Have you ever opened the computer and touched something inside? Have you recently modified/replaced/updated any internal parts of the PC in question? What happened prior to you getting a blue screen? Have you a secondary PC? How knowledgeable/comfortable are you with accessing the internals of your PC if you may have never accessed them before? If necessary would you be able to view and describe parts that are viewable within the internal case of the PC in question? The answers you provide will give a great amount of information on how I can provide the best solution to your issue within your capabilities.

    Cheers,

    RJ

Hi!
In order to solve your problem I have to let you run several checklists with your help. Before that let me know whether you are a familiar user with the computers, operating systems and hardware. And also let me know whether you are familiar with electronic diagnosis tools.
Describe your last activity with the machine.
Do you have a Laptop or a Desktop? Which Operating system do you use? Have you performed installations? removals of Software applications? Hardware installations? Have you received errors during the last session? Have your machine infected with a virus?
Please answer these simple questions (Ignore the Software usage problems if you are not familiar with them. I ll ask during the process).
Because if you are not familiar with them I need to give you more detailed solutions.
If you are a familiar user with machines and Operating systems:
How to read the error message associated with the blue screen

  1. Power up your machine.
  2. If you use a Desktop PC, Tap F8 key several times BEFORE BOOTING WINDOWS Operating System
  3. You will be presented with a menu.
  4. Choose "Disable Automatic Restart on a System Failure" option.
  5. You have to use Keyboard keys to scroll the menu.
  6. Press Enter key after the selection.
  7. Now use a Paper and a Pen and Write Down the Error Message which is on the Monitor with the Blue Screen.
  8. Add to the next reply.
Thank you! -Lasitha

A blue screen or Blue Screen Of Death, BSOD, is generally caused by a corrupt driver or a bad software installation.
First, you need to determine the STOP code that is on that screen.
  • Start in safe mode, press F8 repeatably as the computer starts up,
  • check Disable automatic restart on system failure (This prevents Windows from automatically restarting if an error causes Windows to fail.)

OK, now the BSOD will stay there so you can determine what caused your problem. Report back the stop code and any information about a driver that caused the problem so we can be of further help.

Help am getting blue screen on my laptop...not loading xp

First of all if u r getting the blue screen what is the stop code and what is the error, is it saying physical dump of memory,or it says like stop code; 0x000000ed or something like that,in these case if it is just physical dump of memory and the main thing is from how long r u getting the blue screen, and did u install any new software or hardware, and what u can do is disconnect the ac adaptor and take out the battery from the computer and then press and hold down the power button without the ac adaptor and the battery for one minute and then turn on the computer and still if u get it then reseat the memory of the computer and then reseat the hard drive of the computer and still if u getting it then u need to repair the operating system with the help of the windows operating system disk and if u r ready to lose the data from the computer then u can reinstall the operating system and after reinstalling the os also if u get a blue screen then definitely u need to replace the hard drive of the computer.and if u don’t want to loose ur data u can repair the os with the help of windows os disk.,try it out it will definitely help u out…thanks

Blue Screen

You could try turning the computer off at the switch when this happens. Sometimes it is a very temporary problem. You would need to wait a few minutes then turn it back on and restart your computer.
