Question about Canon PIXMA MX700 All-In-One InkJet Printer
My Pixma M700 is a couple of months old. It was working fine and then one day, after printing okay it stopped and showed the error code 6502. The ink tank was half full. I tried replacing it with a brand new ink tank but it still shows the same error and will not print.
1-- With the printer unplugged, remove the ink cart to the right ,
2--Plug in the printer ,Press the POWER button, Do not release the POWER button ,and then press the RESUME button twice in succession .Now release the POWER button ,press the RESUME button 4 times .
3--The beeper may sound once ,Then Unplug the printer ,then power back up and reset the printer electronics ,open the printer and this process is finished. I believe this should take care of your issue, it's basically a cold reset for the printer, Give it a shot...
