I've had a compaq CQ60 for 1 year and it's been ok until yesterday. I left it plugged in and running while I did some cleaning and about 30 mins later it went off, I assumed that maybe the battery run out. but it didn't make much sense since it was plugged in unless I accidently unplugged it while cleaning around it and even then 30 mins would have been too short period of time for the battery to run out. I tried to turn it on and the three lights at the front blink 3 times and nothing happens, The light showing that it's connected to the charger comes on when I connect it, but when I try to switch it on the 3 power light, battery light and drive light blink 3 times and it just won't come on. Any suggestions?

First of all, I apologize if this is in the wrong place, I don't see where I can make a thread about this model in particular. OK, yesterday someone walked me through my original problem (not being able to find Toshiba Recovery Wizard in the laptop's F8 menu, so I needed to find a direct way to get to the Recovery Wizard). Their advice worked for that part of the problem. However, the Recovery Wizard itself did not work. It went through all of the motions, and at the end, the desktop screen appeared for Windows Vista, with all of the pre-loaded programs showing...and then suddenly the desktop screen disappeared, leaving me with a grey screen that says "this is not a bootable device". So now my question is, if I were to order recovery disks from Toshiba, will that fix the problem, or is this a hardware problem? My model did not come with disks of its own, the Recovery Wizard is pre-loaded in the system. Thank you!
