Question about Krups Small Appliances Espresso Machine

Lots of disturbing noises, no coffee

When my Krups XP7220 starts brewing there's a horrible noise coming from the coffee grinding department and only light brown hot water is released into the cup.
It sounds as if there's something stuck in the mill (a stone perhaps, mixed in with the coffee beans?)
I've tried turning the thing upside down and poking about through the top where the coffee beans go into the grinder but I think I need to get inside the thing.
How do I remove the cover and get to the heart of the matter?
I've undone as many screws as I can find but I don't like to go prising off plastic panels unless I know for sure they're supposed to be prised off.

Thanks, I'll give that a go.
No error codes, it believes it's doing a great job, says "your coffee is ready" and presents you with a cup of hot water.

The coffee grinder gets clogged with coffee powder and coffee oils and no coffee is released into the brewing chamber. Remove the grind adjustment knob and the one screw holding the bean holder in place. You should now have access to the grinder and clean it with a brush. Further disassembly as outlined above may be necessary in order to remove the grinder if a more thorough cleaning is required.

It is is easy, if you know how to do it... as always
First take of the wather, trach bin etc,
Start with removing the cup wher the beans is stored, the adjustment knob for the mill is a tricky part. Remove it by bending out the side of the knob. Thereafter remove the screws from cup and those you on see on the top.
The front (silver frame) is removed by lifting it upwards, behind it you have 4 screws that has to be removed.
The last two screws is found under the wather tank.
Now you should had take away 11 screws, at least...
Bend the back of top and it will be off. Finally push the rest of the plastic cover backwards.

Do you know what the error codes says? I have know 6,8and no coffy...

Remove the frother nozzle: if its the early type with three hooks, slide the frother body down before trying to remove it. Disassemble the frother and clean the three holes in the end. If the holes are blocked, the steam can't escape. If it's not pushing hot water through the coffee holder, pull out the water reservoir, and remove and clean the grid plate assembly where the coffee holder clips in.

V'Espresso makes hot water and steam, but does not release water into brewmaster. Only makes loud noise.

Sounds like either the grind is too fine or the brew unit is blocked at the shower screen.
If the coffee ground discharged are wet, then the grind is too fine, if they are dry then the upper screen needs to be cleaned because it is blocked with coffee oils.

A Krups KM7005 coffee maker/grinder doesn't heat or drip water .

Mine had the same problem ... all the lights are on, grinding works fine, but no heat on the plate, and no dripping of water.

After a weekend on the workbench, I mastered this machine. The KM7005 has 2 x MicroTemp G4 thermal cutoff (TCO) fuses which interrupt the Live line, for overheat protection. Mine didn't overheat per se, but the TCO blew anyway. Not reset-able ... need to be replaced with a soldering iron. To date, I have helped 13 people on this site fix this exact problem.

I'll be happy to advise you to fix this, or fix it for you. Write me at KM7005@flightsystems.biz.
