Water is gushing out of the bottom of the washer when I turn it on. Water supply hoses from the hose are not the issue. Any suggestions?

Check for a crack in the water pump housing. they are molded of plastic which does tend to crack on some washers such as yours here

Yes, with the cover off, look carefully into the workings while switching the unit on. You will very possibly see a pipe that has come off or that has a hole in it. Replace it.

After repairing the pipeline it's inevitable that some debris/stones/cement etc. would find it's way into your machine. Even though there is (or should be) a filter in the water input hose, I'd guess that the water pressure was so high that some debris damaged the electrically operated solenoid valve which controls the water input flow. A mechanical problem then, with possibly some associated electrical fault. If you can get the machine out, I suggest unscrewing the inlet hose and having a look at the valve - they're usually easy to get to. But please DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY AND WATER first.

Could be bad hose, valve or seal in the washer (this was listed under dryers). Requires taking the washer out of service and looking for source of the leaks. Hose, valve or connectors is more likely than a seal if water is gushing.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

ND error in your Front Load washer indicates no drain issue. To start with check the drain hose for any clogs and try cleaning it, then check restriction in drain pump assembly or loose wire at the pump, located inside the bottom front access panel of the unit. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Nine tine out of ten the fill valve housing is cracked, try filling washer with bucket if no leaks that will prove it, if leaks with bucket fill the problen is probably the water pump or hose's that go to it

How do i clean a blocked filter on a wma74

Remove the lower rear panel of washer.
Remove the large black hose fastened to the bottom of the drum.
Remove and clean the plastic filter inside hose, make sure you fit it back on correctly, or it will come off.
Remove the hose onto the pump, and check for obstruction or blockage here and in the pump itself.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Refrigerator gushing water through ice maker filter

Filters themselves don't usually leak. Check full insertion of filter, cracked filter housing or cracked supply line.

Water is filling slowly

For low water volume - or "Trickling" effect...

1. Turn off the water supply to both hoses.
2. Remove hoses (one at a time so you don't get them confused)
3. On the washer side - look for a removeable screen inside wher you just removed the hose.
4. Using a small screwdriver - pop out the screen and reverse-flush it/clean it. It will likely be full of sediment and calcium deposits from your pipes.
5. Replace the inlet screens.
6. Re-fit the hose to the machine.
7. Turn on water supply valves.
8. re-try.

perhaps not in that hose but in the pump housing just below it, quite possible that someting is jamming the imopellar preventing proper draining of water

Water authority turned off water & washer not working now

Disturbing the water supply caused sediment to flow in and block the inlet screen(s) on your washer. Take the supply hoses off and look inside the part they screwed off of to find screens. Remove the screens and clean. Reinstall. Check that there are not filter style hose washers in either end of the supply hoses which may need to be cleaned out.

Firstly, there should be only one hose, always connected to the cold supply.
The unit will heat the water to the setting you choose for the wash (40 - 60 - etc)

Secondly, if the unit is leaking water, try turning down the cold pressure, this will slow the supply pressure to the unit and prevent spray out from the detergent drawer.

Your supply tap should have an isloting tap on it, adjust this until it sullpies water at an acceptable rate.
Do this by feeding the hose into a bucket/basin and tweak it until it pours out - not sprays out.
This should alleviate any leaks around the machine.

Hope this helps.
