Best thing to do is to set or change the security. setting it to WPA2 type would be great. this security method provides a better protection to the network

Wireless password

The wireless password for a router is established by the administrator of the router. This is whom you should ask for the password. Hacking into the router wont help you find it because the password is not is a series of dots. You CAN, if you access the router setup, CHANGE the wireless password to something you can use - but if you are hoping to piggyback or hack onto someones service using their wireless password, you're out of luck.

Internet suddenly slow? INET light going nuts in the modem?

Someone may have hacked into your router and is using up your bandwidth.

go into the router and change (or enable) the security settings.
If you don't require wireless, DISABLE it.
unplug and reconnect the modem/router
reset the computer.

PS - don't think that just because your wireless security is configured that someone can't hop onto it.
I have an old P-III laptop that can crack a 128 bit WEP key in 8 minutes!
Disable the wireless if you don't need it or change to WPA/WPA2 personal.

It may even be that someone hasn't hacked in to your system YET but was attempting of the tricks to hacking a WEP key is to inject signals at a high rate of speed which would bring your router to a crawl.
My d link router green lights are flashing contineusly and cant connect with my device.cant connect with my mobile or my computer

Ok, there might be one possibility.

Someone might have hacked your router and banned your devices from connecting. Yes, it can be done especially if you are using WEP to connnect to router.

Hardwire to your router using a cable and log in. See what other devices are connected, you also might want to change the wireless SSID name and password, however, do not use WEP, change it to WPS-PSK which is a lot harder to hack.

Router hacked? change your router password.. depending on the router it self there should be a sticker that says something like login and password is password.. go to wireless settings change ur wep key to something else..

also use virus scans all types and key logger scans... such as advanced system care @ and not really sure what account is hacked when you have not displayed it correctly.hope something here helps you.

Internet light keeps blinking

Disconnect all "wired" computers.
Shutdown all "wireless" devices (iPod Touch, wireless laptop).
If the light still blinks, then either this is "normal" for your router,
or your router has been "hacked" by computer-hackers.

Contact your ISP for advice.

There should a reset button on the router, usually on the back. Press and hold for about 5 - 10 seconds and this will reset the router to factory default.
