May indicate a hard disk failure, but try to do a Windows repair/reinstall first. If you can still create data backup, make sure to do that first. If you continue to get the same error even after a complete reformat of the hard disk, you may try to test it out on another SATA channel using another cable, or test if the drive has same issue on another system to fully confirm if it needs to be replaced.
