Hi

When you go to Start, Settings and Printers and Faxes or Start, Printers and Faxes make sure that your printer is there. Also make sure there is a check mark on your printer name. If not, right click on it and pick set as default printer. You can also double click it and make sure there aren't any print jobs backed up. Another thing to do is to make sure it is online. Right click on it and it should say Use Printer Offline if it is online and say Use Printer Online if it is offline. You want it to say Use Printer Offline for it to work.
You can also right click the printer and go to Properties to check the port that it prints to and you can also print a test page from there.
One more thing to try is to go to Start, Run, type in services.msc and click Ok. From here find the service in the list that says Print Spooler and make sure it is started. If not you can right click it and start it and also set it to automatic.

If that doesn't work delete the printer from Printers and Faxes and also uninstall any software from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel associated with the printer and then try to install the printer again.

Computor wont recognize dvd player

You might need to have a computer administrator account to perform some tasks.
Most new devices your computer will recognise automatically. When your comp is running, plug in your new dvd player. Does it beep and say 'New Hardware added? If not then use
The Add Hardware Wizard which enables you to add new hardware or troubleshoot any hardware-related problems.
Open the Add Hardware Wizard

  • To open the Add Hardware Wizard, click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Printers and Other Hardware. Under See Also, click Add Hardware.
  • If it can't recognise the player, it gives you the option to select the correct make and model. Is yours on the list? If not, you may need to go to the Microsoft site and update the list of players.
  • Do come back here if you need further help.

Can not get a print it was working but because my internet service is changed ,printer having a comunication probelm with my laptop

On the printer's control panel, reset the wireless network settings After some time the printer will create it's own P2P wireless connection. Look on the printer's control panel again to see what it named itself.
Start
Control panel
Go to hardware and sound ----> printers (just printers in XP)
On the toolbar click add a printer
Click the box, Add a network, wireless or bluetooth printer.
Finally your computer will search for the printer and you can then click on it and you are done
I hope that helps
