the tray at the bottom which collects defrost water usually has its own heater or a section of the main heater runs close to it. check this part of the heater has continuity. an old trick as well which sometimes works is to wrap some copper wire round the heater and lead this to the drain hole. conductiuon of heat thro the copper helps keep the drain clear. this is a common problem across all makes

Boomdog, the problem with your fridge is the temperature control board (where you adjust temps at in the fridge section). I serviced one of these just this week for the same problem! It's working fine now. They'll need to bring a control board with them to finish this job. The part number for it is #8201659. Be glad you won't have to fork over the cash to buy it, the retail cost is ~$165.00. Unfortunately, all of my vendors tell me this board is a factory backorder item. Maybe Sears will have it, maybe not. Also, after the repair is complete, please connect your computer controlled appliance up to a quality surge suppression/arrestor device. We highly recommend this one... http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=124911

SOURCE: blocked fridge drain
The pan being full doesnt affect the drain being blocked the pans not full anyway its constantly evaporationg it. I use a little air pressure to clear drain lines, than pur a diluted solution of water and a little bleach down the hole water should drain fast and not pool.

SOURCE: clogged fridge drain tube
The drain is behind the back panel in the freezer at the bottom. Sounds like it is frozen over which is pretty common. Will need to remove panel and thaw out drain by running hot water down. You can use a putty knife to break up ice first. Make sure you get all ice around the drain above and below the thin aluminum tray at the bottom. After the drain is free don't be alarmed if you get some water on the floor because the drain pan may not hold all of the water you ran down the drain. Not anything you can do to prevent this on this model.

The fridge was clicking but it just wouldnt kick on, and the fan still worked. There are websites that you can order the part from, It cost $63.05 with tax!!!! good luck
