Question about Uniden Cordless Phone

We purchased a Uniden Series CEZA12998 for my father. He has been h aving a problem with his visual blinker. After he tries to disengage it (he is supposedly following direction) - it continues to blink. He is 94 and this upsets him. He spoke to a repairman and your reps last night, but he wound up fixing it himself after many hours. Is there any fix for this glitch if it should happen again. His number is 856-772-1999. I will advice you try reset the unit when next the problem occur, Follow this steps to reset the unit,

Turn off the phone, remove the AC adapter, press and hold the page/call button that is on the phone and plug back your Ac adapter, this will fix the problem.

I purchased a Uniden DECT1580 Series phone and can't change to a personal greeting. It states to select command 8 and I can't find command 8.

My copy of the manual states: "Press 8 to start the recording." That's the "8" button on the number pad, between the "7" and "9" buttons :-)
