Question about HP Pavilion dv9000t Notebook
Try HP.com. The drivers and software is available. I have that series of laptop. Just type in your exact model number in the support search form. It should be the first result.
If you are referring to the free camera software that comes with your computer (powerdirector) if you did a restore of your drive it should be in the c:\swsetup\cyberdvd directory. Run the setup.exe file.
If you didn't do a restore then your gonna be out of luck. You can purchase a restore disk from HP for $15.00 or so.

Tips for a great answer:
and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "NEC
Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support).
Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating
system when requested. Download and install the drivers.
You can also check Driver Guide at:
Try using the VLC Player. It comes with drivers and codec. I've seen it solve many sound issues in the past.
Try using VLC as your player. Go to www.google.com and
in the search box type "download vlc" (without the quotes).
Look for the Video Lan download from site www.videolan.org/vlc Download
and install it. It downloads and installs in 3 minutes or so. It's
a very fast player, smooth and it can play just about any type of dvd formats
and media. It's totally FREE.
Try using ManyCam for your webcam. It comes with drivers and software.
You can always download Manycam and install it. Go to
www.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"
(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When the
site opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says Find
Software. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the white
search area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your results
look for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it and
install it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs it
would like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additions
whatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,
and you will always know where your webcam software is.
