Theme i've put a theme in me new psp but when it starts up its shows some icon and the startng music but does not go to the menu

In 2005 Sony released the PlayStation Portable (PSP) hand-held system in the United States. The system allows users to play games, listen to music, view pictures and watch movies on the go. In 2007, Sony released an updated "Slim" version of the PSP that has the same features but is significantly smaller than the original version. One of the most popular features on the PSP is the ability to personalize the device with different themes that give the PSP a customized look. Luckily for PSP Slim owners, installing a theme to customize their PSP is a simple process, only requiring a few steps.
Please just follow the steps below:
1. Insert your Memory Stick Pro Duo into the memory stick slot on the side of your PSP. Turn the PSP system on. 2. Plug your PSP into one of the USB ports on your computer with the PSP USB connection cable.
3. Navigate to the "Settings" section of your PSP's Cross Media Bar. Select "USB Mode" from the list of options to place your PSP into USB mode. 4. Double-click on your PSP in the "My Computer" section of your computer to open the PSP's root directory. Open the folder titled "PSP." 5. Create a folder inside the "PSP" folder and name it "THEME." Be sure to use all capital letters. 6. Open the Web browser on your computer and navigate to a website that offers PSP themes for download. PSP-Themes and PSP Theme Central are two websites that provide this service. Locate a theme that you like and click the download link to begin the downloading process. Allow several seconds for this process to finish. 7. Unzip the files you downloaded in Step 6 using an expander program like WinZip or WinRar. Locate the file with a .ptf extension. For example, psptheme.ptf. 8. Drag the .ptf into the "THEME" folder you created in Step 5. Right-click on the PSP icon on your computer and select the "Eject" option to eject your PSP from your computer.9. Navigate to the "Settings" section of your PSP's Cross Media Bar. Scroll down and select the "Themes" option. Select your theme from the menu that appears to set that theme on your PSP.

conenct the PSP to USB and then set it to USB mode.

access your "my computer" then clcik on the PSP icon on your my computer screen

you will be able to see folders in there, one is music, just copy the music file from your computer then paste it in the "music folder in the PSP.

This is the XMB its the main menu of the system. Games will be located under the Controller Icon. To play games insert a UMD, or if a game is downloaded and saved on the memory card, go through the icons under Controller icon. A disk icon will appear and show a preview screen to the game, press X to start the game.

if you really want to put themes on the psp..if you connect your psp on the pc youll see there all the folders of your psp..look for the theme folder and put the selected theme on it..then chose the downloaded theme from the theme setting menu..also u can use pic as your background..

go yo www.psp-themes.net and move the file to a file that u should create called theme or u can dowload them dirctly from ur psp by going to the link

Ok, plug your mem. stick into your computer. if you don't have a slot it fits in, then leave it in your PSP and plug the PSP into your PC with a USB cable.(You cannot put music or anything else for that matter without a Memory Stick Pro DUO and a computer or PS3. If you dont have a USB cable or a slot for the mem. stick, this wont work.) Click on the start menu, go to My Computer, look for the REMOVABLE DISC J: (or K:, at least that's what mine says.) Double-click on the icon. when it loads, right-click, go to new, and select folder. Type the name "MUSIC", all caps. Open the folder then drag your music tracks into the window. You're done!

In your iDVD project go into the DVD Map menu.
(Little flow chart like icon in the bottom-middle of the iDVD menu screen.)

Look for the very first icon in the map. (Upper left)
This has a small DVD symbol and a play icon on it.
Delete this icon.
Re-burn your DVD.
The menu should be shown first now when you play the DVD.

hardboot your psp and hold r then you should see recovery menu go to plugins and turn cxmb.prx off okay and then delete the theme from your mem stick and then reenable cxmb.prx

Follow this steps to transfer music on PSP:

1. Insert a Memory Stick into the Memory Stick slot in the left side of the PSP. Depending on how much music you want it to hold, you may need to get a larger one than the stick that came with your system.
2. Turn on the PSP.
3. Plug a USB cable into the back of the PSP and into your PC or Mac. The USB cable needs to have a Mini-B connector on one end (this plugs into the PSP), and a standard USB connector on the other (this plugs into the computer).
4. Scroll to the "Settings" icon on the home menu of your PSP.
5. Find the "USB Connection" icon in the "Settings" menu. Press the X button. Your PSP will display the words "USB Mode" and your PC or Mac will recognize it as a USB storage device.
6. Create a folder called "PSP" on the PSP Memory Stick (if there isn't one already) -- it shows up as "Portable Storage Device" or something similar -- (you can use Windows Explorer on a PC, or Finder on a Mac).
7. Create a folder called "MUSIC" inside the "PSP" folder.
8. Drag and drop image files into the "MUSIC" folder just as you would save files in another folder on your computer.
9. Disconnect your PSP by first clicking on "Safely Remove Hardware" on the bottom menu bar of a PC, or by "ejecting" the drive on the Mac (drag the icon into the trash). Then unplug the USB cable and press the circle button to return to the home menu.

once connected by usb you have to go onto the psp root and should find a folder called THEME place the file into there but older firmware versions do not support themes after placed the themes in the folder disconnect the psp and on the settings menu of the psp go on display - themes and select the theme there
