Question about ViewSonic E70f 17" CRT Monitor
Screen size get enlarge itself i.e its like that pincushion setting get changed and again return to normal setting.this problem flickering all over the time.my monitor is just 2 yrs old.
I realize this discussion is from 2008, but I have this problem today (May-2010). I have gone so far as to re-load my OS (XP with sp2) and still have the problem. At first I had a good screen and very sharp clear resolution (Dell 4500 desktop). After shut down an opening the next day, the monitor screen (Dell - sold with unit) had shrunk and resolution is now fuzzy. Why? Is there a known fix? I realize it's graphics but I took this down to the pre-loaded Dell partition and don't understand why this didn't heal the problem.

I think the problem is not your monitor itself . the real problem is your video card, maybe the video card is damage or the video card driver is corrupted. Try to re install the video card driver. In the run type DEVMGMT.MSC hit enter . If the device manager windows open select and double click the DISPLAY ADAPTER delete the video display model and click ACTION, SCAN HARDWARE CHANGES the windows automatic search for the driver and install it but sometime you need to insert the cd driver. If you dont have a video driver with you look in the internet for the model of your video card.
