Question about Cell Phones

Prior to yesterday the phone was working beautifully before I installed the new reccomended update. It worked great for 1/2 the day after the update. The battery was getting low, so I hooked it up to the charger. 2 hours later I went to disconnect the phone from the charger and the screen was black. I pushed the red button to turn it on and it would not respond. I took the battery out and put it back in and got red LED light flash, then White screen. I purchased a new battery and the same thing happened. I then tried to wipe using JI Cmder; but I cannot get it to establish a connection. I get a 507 error code? Is there hope??

    Hi. THis did not work. When I put the battery in the red LED stays lit for a bit, then goes out. I hear the noise like the USB recoginzes the device go on, then it goes off on the PC.

    Hello,

    Perform a soft reset. Press the ALT and RIGHT SHIFT (CAP)
    and DELETE keys at the same time. If the problem still persist, you will
    need to perform hard reset on the blackberry phone, power
    off the phone and power on back, while the phone is loading, remove the
    battery from the blackberry phone, wait awhile before putting back the
    battery and power on, see if it fix the blackscreen/error code 507 on your blackberry
    phone

Phone cant detect my sim card


Try getting an over air update when you call the service you are using, If that doesnt work check your phone for new software update and last thing to do is check a different sim card to see if your sim card is damaged if all of these do not work I reccomend returning phone to the place of purchase as it may be the phone itself. Hope this helps let me know what you find out.

I have been watching TV catchup and BBC1 Iplayer but each time I am asked to download adobe flash player/ It is installed and until yesterday everything was working now its; not - I've re-installed adobe...

The first link is for Adobe. This is their latest version of Flash Player. To install properly, you have to uninstall all prior versions of the player through device manager, or the likes, first then, install new software, otherwise it won't work right When yo go to install, a window may pop up telling you whats interfereing with download,ie, Internet Explorer, mail service, etc., that you will have to exit before download will work. You will need latest version of Java for your veiwing also(second link). It insatlls pretty much the same way. Remove prior versions first. If you have Java already, you can update through device manager by clicking on Java icon and clicking on update tab.

My phone keeps freezing when i turn it on. it freezes after 10 seconds


firstly, try removing memory card to ensure its not a memory card problem.

then, i would suggest a hard reset to the problem. type *#7370# and enter your lock code. preset lock code is 12345.

Do note that it will reset the phone to factory settings and therefore you need to backup your data prior. Using nokia pc suite content backup is convenient, though you'll have to re-install all apps.

a clean format of your memory card from the phone is also recommended after the reset.

If Nothing else changed in the last 2 weeks, such as a new router, or other hardware changes, AND it just started happening, I suggest you do a "system restore" to a date BEFORE the problem started.
This should correct the problem, and if you did any updates or other software installations, you will need to re install them.

Finally, one option prior to system restoring is to turn off the wireless router (unplug it) and then wait a minute. Plug back in. Then turn on your computer. You can try this first if you haven't already..

Blackjack 2 corrupted files randomly


try doing a factory reset. also look into re-loading the operating system (no joke).. there is an update to the OS which you can download and install. I even heard you can get a free upgrade to WM6, but i havent personally done it.

i did the windows mobile 5 update a while back and it re-loaded the whole OS just make sure to backup contacts ect BEFORE you do it as contacts are stored onto the phone- you can also copy to your SIM although i reccomend just syncing it to your PC

*do be careful with future SYNC ing as it can overwrite your contacts and notes

changed batteris and that worked great. Until this am. Came in and same problem. switched batteries back but no fix. I am sure new fresh batteries each day can't be the solution! Anyone have any ideas

Contact Kodak! I had similar problem after a paper jam. I phoned three days ago and this morning, a new printhead arrived along with two new cartridges. Have installed the printhead and printer is printing beautifully! Thank you Kodak! Great customer service!

CF Error


I had the same symptoms. I took it to an authorized Canon repair shop. For $150, they resoldered connections on my 'power supply board'.  No idea why the solder gave out. It's working great now.
