I have no display when computer is turned on and

First use the following steps:

Turn off the system and disconnect power cables
Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds.
Reconnect power cables and try to turn it on.

If it remains same, the next step will be to:
Turn off the system and disconnect power cables
Open the case and re-seat memory modules

If you have more than one modules installed, try to test the system with a single module at a time.

Plug in Tv and use monitor as well?

enable the second device by rt clicking on the desktop, and go to properties then display, click on the second device and click on enable. that should allow you to run them both, as long as your card allows it, which it should if it has 2 outputs

Dell blue screen tests got data bus system

I presume you ran the 32bit Dell diagnostics. The memory test failure indicates that the memory module has failed. If you have more than one memory installed, you can try removing one at a time and run only the memory test (from Custom test option), this way you can isolate the faulty memory. If you have a warranty for the computer, Dell would replace the memory for you (Check warranty status from )
As for your other problem “it just does nothing when i type r for recovery”, you would need to go to the bios, under the “Drives” tree, under “SATA operation” you would need to change option one to two and save and exit. This is applicable on for the Dim 8400. But you would not need to do this if the prvious steps resolve you issue
Hope this helps. Please rate your feedback!
