SOURCE: DATA RECOVERY ON FAULTY EMC AX100

There is a chance that you will be able to get back some of your inaccessible data, provided those items were not overwritten (if you continue saving more data to the drive).

First things first: STOP using the hard dive that you want to recover data from in case you may quite possibly ruin your chances of data recovery.

Then Recommend you have a try of Wondershare Data Recovery, a data recovery program with both Windows and Mac versions provided. It should help you. Get the program here,

Data Recovery Windows (for Windows)
Data Recovery Mac (for Apple Mac OS)

Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to your hard drive until you can recover your data safely!

Hi,

My name is Ben and I'm your guru, i.e., mentor, an influential teacher or popular expert: a management guru. - origin from Sanskrit, 'weighty, grave', for today.

Your description of what you're attempting to accomplish is not clear. However, I believe that an application called MobTime can solve the problem for you. The publisher's description follows:

"MobTime Cell Phone Manager is easy-to-use PC software that helps manage your mobile phone via data cable, IrDA, or Bluetooth dongle. The software supports most famous mobile phones of Nokia, Samsung, SonyEricsson, Motorola, LG, and Siemens. With the software, you can manage contacts, calendars, and messages, send and receive messages, chat via messages like MSN and Skype, create own logos and ring tones, manage other multimedia files, such as MP3s, photos, E-books, and video, install Java games and applications, synchronize contacts and calendars with Outlook and Outlook Express, access Internet via GPRS connection. Check if your phone is supported at the developer's Web site"

You can click on the following link to download a functioning free trial. CNET Download Center.
All the best,

Ben

How to configure AX 150

EMC offers a great documentation site.
Here is it:
http://www.emc.com/microsites/clariion-support/ax150/install.esp?redirect=true

You can select Install and you can create a great customizes doc for installation steps.

Generally you can configure AX150 from a web based interface.
Enter the ip addess of the storage processor and a java application will appears.
You should do the following:
1. Create raid groups
2. Create LUNs on raid group
3. Register the hosts
4. Add hosts and LUNs to a storage groups

Slow file transfer

What is your connectivity to the SAN? fiber or iSCSI? Have you checked the management tools to see if there are any errors on the data paths? If using iSCSI and the SAN and server are in the same network segment, make sure the default gateway is empty for the iSCSI connection. Look at the routes on the server to make sure the traffic is not leaving the subnet through a router and back to the SAN, and vice versa. If fiber then you'll have to use the tools given to check for errors. Ken

Storage Processor A Problem

I'm not an EMC guy, but that error makes me question the connectivity of SP-A to your Management Server. Check the host port status on both controllers to see if they are active. If this is on a SAN, you might check the switch port status going to SP-A.
