My Copier machine has stopped after the paper got stuck with the master in the waste bin. I have removed all the paper bits stuck and the masters from the drum and the waste bin. but now only the error code E12 is left. how to reset the machine
You should check the all paper sensor, there must be a pieces of paper in some sensor and make the sensor in wrong direction. You should remove all and off the power for a while and the start to use it.

The error code means that the finisher bins could not find HP. The problem shows up when something is placed under the bins and stops them from moving down, most of the time a "G" file or a case of paper. Move the object and move the bottom bin up till you hear it click. Before doing that make sure the MAIN Power Switch is OFF on the right side of copier... Then turn the copier back ON and it should clear it self.. Good Luck
First make sure that the machine is reading/ seeing the paper size of the paper that is in the tray ( select tray 1 from the touch screen and see what the paper size reads). If the machine sees a different size then that in the tray, use the 'user tools' and change the paper for that tray. Also, go into your printer settings on/in your computer and make sure that the proper paper size is selected ( the size that is in the tray you want to print from). If the orientation of the paper size is different from the tray -- will not print and give you the error.
You need more help than I can give you. Someone needs to take off the back cover and manually move the bins up or down to be able to remove all that paper stuck there. This is the only way to do it and not break a sorter bin, which if that happens, is a LOT more work to fix. The bins could also be jammed on the stapler. Personally I'd leave this job to a qualified tech.
