First of all start the Internet Explorer, click on tools, internet settings, for advanced users and click on both restore defaults buttons. Restart Internet Explore, as you will be prompt, and click on the apropiate buttons to make the settings back to normal. Go to tools, windows update and let the system take all the updates that is needed. After that your Internet Explorer will be updated and functional.
