Question about Epson STYLUS CX5900 Printer
I haven't use my printer for months and I remember that there are still yellow, cyan and black ink and no blue ink when I stopped using the printer. Now, I will use it, it said that I need to replace all the ink. So, I replaced it with the original inks but the error still persists. I need to replace ink. Meaning, it did not recognize the ink I replaced. I tried to remove it and place it back again. But still the problem is the same. What will I do to fix the problem?
There is a program called SSC Service Utility, but for me it didnt work, I still have the same problem. But, who knows for you work!

Any other ideas to try? I read I could download a reset but I can't find it.

I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink or toner cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled (the absolute worst possible choice) or third party cartridges (2nd. Worst possible choice) that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks or toner causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead or photo conductors.
If you are using factory new ink or toner cartridges, then please call the manufacturer’s Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges
