Question about Computers & Internet
If ?t's still under warranty take it back. It could be a hard disc issue, dvd drive, fan or power supply problem. Note that if it is hot around the pc or there is not enough ventilation then the cooling fans will be making a lot of noise so rule this out f?rst before you take it back to the service.
If it's out of warranty I woudl just keep using it until something fails. A clunking sound is normally your hard disc giving up and that is usually located near the DVD drive bay. However best to back up any important infromation you have on the pc to DVDs or other media now in case the hard drive does die as it will be expensive to try and recover lost data on the drive later.
