First I would try going to the sprint store and try a different battery. If it works fine with that, buy it. If you get the same error with a new battery, try a different charger. If you still get the same error with a new battery and charger, disassemble the back of the phone with a small phillips screwdriver and remove the main board. Once the board is out, clean it with rubbing alcohol (preferrably 91% rubbing alcohol) and a toothbrush, especially around the charging port and the battery terminals. If it has gotten wet, you should see the corrosion when you open it up.
Be very careful unplugging the flex connections. A small tear or bent pin could cause costly damage to the phone.
Try the last 4 digits of your cellphone number. if it doesn't work try 0000 and if that doesn't work, Call Sprint Tech support and have them flag your account for a PRL UPDATE and follow their instructions, when you get the PRL UPDATED, the lock code will be the last 4 digits of your cellphone number Hope this helps Let me know Thanks
download tonethis 3.0 from the internet. You can use mp3's to have as your ringer. The first one takes awhile to get on your phone. You just save the txt as a ringer when you get it, and you can also send wallpapers and also animated.
you cannot just bring your MP3's onto your phone and use them as ringtones.
What I have done in the past is taken a file as a MP3 and found a program on the internet (google will help you find one) to convert it to a .wma file. You can then send that as a pix message to your via e-mail. Once it is on your phone you can through the message save file as a ringtone.
