Hi, when a phone screen randomly freezes, it means that the phones memory is faulty or when an application you downloaded has virus.

What to do is this,

You will have to flash the phone to restore the memory of the phone.

You can use this link to see how to flash your phone

hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Flash-your-cell-phone

and

unlocktotalk.com/UnlockCodeInstructions.htm.

Take care.

Tip

Updating Software

WARNING

When updating software on Mobs, be sure to:
HAVE A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY INSERTED;
PUT IT ON GENERAL PROFILE;
TURN OFF YOUR PIN NUMBER;
CONNECT YOUR CHARGER TO YOUR MOB AND SWITCH IT ON;
DO NOT-----DO NOT---- TOUCH YOUR PHONE WHILE THE UPDATE IS GOING ON;
THIS CAN TAKE 30 MINUTES OR MORE.
And obviously don't unplug the phone from the PC.
Be patient, you may have to do a restart or two on your mob afterwards. Even remove the battery to get it going again. But give it plenty of time.

It is also wise not to use your PC while updating software, just in case the PC freezes.
If the PC freezes during an update, you're up the creek without a paddle...

I did an update on a Sony Eric 810i it took nearly two hours.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

More... Your phone may turn itself on and off, sometimes more than once while updating software, you should leave it well alone during the update.

Before updating software you should check that there's a newer version of software available.

Try this:
Take your SIM card out.
Make sure your phone battery is fully charged.
Press * 3 send at the same time and turn the phone on. Keep them pressed until the reset screen appears.
Give it time to reset.
Yes! I know. You need someone to press the ON button.

Tip! Only use one Anti Virus Application on your phone.

If the above doesn't work try another update. (it may have mis-updated).

When your phone is connected to your PC you can access the files via Windows Explorer. But I think your phone needs a software update. Go to Nokia website of where you live IE. http://europe.nokia.com/A4577224
