Go to the Lenovo Support web site then select to Download Drivers and Software, select the Find Product page tab, then Desktops & all-in-ones, then Netvista desktops, then Netvista Personal computer, then 8303, then All models and you will be given a list of all available driver downloads.
You have driver problem. Update your sound card driver. If you use vista then go to control panel - Hardware and sound- then device manager - Run update driver
get the name and model of the sound card maker and go to there website and check if they have drivers for download. if not go to the place where you bought it and ask if they have recovery discs.
check if your audio calbe is correctly plugged in that is probably teh problem, but if not update your audio card drivers by finding the company of your audio card which should be listed in system specs
There is a bunch of "model" numbers for the IBM netvista PC. You didn't menton yours in your question but after looking at a dozen or so I'll bet you have at least one PCI slot free for a wireless PCI card.
