Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

Hi there I paid for and downloaded a number of MP3 files, hoping to play them on my iphone. The files play once through itunes but then report back that they can't play again because the files cannot be located. They do not transfer to my iphone. Can you suggest how I can get them to transfer permanently into my itunes library and then onto my iphone please? Thanks Catherine

    Hi drifterK

It's unlikely the MP3 files will be in piratebay - they are lectures from a class and not music. Will your advice still work regardless? I have already tried your suggestion - but the downloaded file won't be added to itunes - it won't transfer as such

My suggestion is to look for the mp3 on pirate bay ..and download them into computer for free..than click file on itune ..and add folder or file to library ..and browse for the ones you want to add ..and add them to library ..than connect the iphone ...and go to it in itune... and sync the library ..(music) ..
so ..the way to add them is either click right on the mp3 when you buy it ..and choose add to library ..or ..just download like I say from pirate bay mp3///than choose from them and add them into itunes library ..and sync to add them into iphone..(I guess you 've done it before..
Here is the site I was talking about ..and the little torrent program needed to download..them ..
here is the program...install it first is a 3 sec job ...the downloaded files will be in my documents ..downloads..
how it works??
just install the torrent first ...
after that open the pirate bay site ..and make a serch by the name of the author ..or will display more than one result ..choose the one with multiple seed and leaches ..and than click on the green arrows to download it willopenthe torrent program ..and you have to confirm it ..
when the download is finished a balloon will pop up to let you know ..
the speed is variable in function of the seed..but usually an album you can download it in a few minutes..
and its free..and the files actually remain in your computer to share it with friends or burn them to disk ..

If you have the files downloaded into computer ..just click file and add file to library .than browse for the file and add it ..only after the file is added in library you will be able to sync with the Iphone and be added to its memory ....
I'm not sure how do you bought them if they are not available to do what you want with themmm.take a better look cause usually a bought file is added in the library right the way ..or you should be asked what you want to do ..or I said the file ..and after being selected..see the options ..(click right or ..use the tools add it to library ..)
Sorry about the confusion ...but cause you didn't specified I just assumed that you were talking about regular music mp3 files..and that is a better solution ..or at least cheaper ..
if there isnt any way to putt hem into the library ..try to save the files into computer ...and after that add them to library ..I guess if you bought them you can save them physically into computer ..after that all you have to do is use the add files to library feature..(or folder if you have them all in one place ) ..and once into the library ..when you will make a sync they will be added to Iphone..

Just navigate in safari to any streaming mp3 file (like on seeqpod) and play it so it will be in your browsers history, then close safari and open HistoryDL, and touch the most recent(top) line in the list (it may look blank) and hit the download button. Then just wait, when the button lightens back to its normal grey color the mp3 is downloaded (in to the ebooks folder). Then open MNPlight and go to import, and type in the path to the mp3 (Var/Root/Media/EBooks) and import the mp3 to the iPhone and play as normal without syncing with iTunes.

Hope this helps.

I have a Windows computer with all my mp3 files. Is there a way to convert my music files to bypass iTunes?

You don't need to buy the songs again, you can just import them onto iTunes and when you connect your iPhone 5C you can synchronize the songs to your phone.

I can't play or send FLAC music files to my Ipod. Please help. Thanks

i understood your problem ........The best solution is to use Format Factory software to convert your FLAC music file to any music file format like mp3,mp4,aac,mxmmf,midi,wav....etc..

After converting you can able to play music on your i-pod

If you have apple's I-pod then you requires I-tunes Software to sync the music files to your I-pod....

here i am giving you the link of format factory software enjoy....

Thank you for giving me opportunity to solve your problem.

please give me your Ratings!!

Most of the songs that I have downloaded from Itunes will not play because it will say lisense problem.

This is due to the DRM (Digital Rights Management) of songs you have purchased through iTunes that are not iTunes+ (DRM Free Files). These Files show up in iTunes as AAC files and have the extension .m4p. These files will not play on any other type of player than an Apple iPod, or iPhone etc. They must first be converted to standard mp3 files. This can be achieved several ways:
1) Burn the songs to CD then re-import them as MP3 Files and copy those files to your device (time consuming)
2) Create an MP3 Version of the song within iTunes which is fast and easy:
step 1: Open iTunes -> Preferences
On the General Tab you will see "Import Settings" near the bottom of the window under "When You Insert a CD". Click the button "Import Settings"
Now change Import Using: to MP3 Encoder
Click OK. Click OK again to close the Preferences window.
step 2: Now back in iTunes you will see your music library. Highlight the song you want to play on your Philips MP3 player and click the right-mouse button to bring up the context menu.
You will see "Create MP3 Version" As an option on this menu.
step 3: Create MP3 Versions of the songs that will not play on your player
step 4: Copy the MP3 Version of the songs to your player. You can do this by highlighting the Newly Created MP3 Song and right-click "Show in Finder" or "Show File".

I have an AA file that I downloaded from, it's a book. When I try to sync it to the Sony Walkman from Windows Media Play, I get an error. The error says "Windows Media Player cannot sync...

The "AA" file type is not supported in the NWZ MP3 players. However, you are still able to place audiobooks onto your player if you convert the file to one of the supported file audio formats: MP3. WMA, AAC-LC, and PCM. Remember that there are several iterations of MP3, such as variable bit rate and frequency range and the player does not play some of them.

What I do is that I pull the file into Audacity and convert it there. Another option is that if you can burn the audiobook onto a CD, you can then rip to WMP and then sync it to your player. That is how I get my language audiobooks onto my player. The last option, which I have never tried, is to get it into ITunes, then sync it to your player that way. ITunes will automatically convert the file before syncing it onto the player.

Hope that helps.

Any format of music to iphone?

Well currently, on (Non-hacked) iPhone the only way to get music on the iPhone is via iTunes, so if the song plays on iTunes, it should play on the iPhone.
