I had my sony walkman nwd-b103f. when i connect it to the pc it say's usb device not recognized. plz help?

Please try these steps:
You don't need any driver software, if your pc has windows xp sp2 or later and Windows Media Player 11.
1. Connect the player to the computer.
2. From the computer, select start - Control Panel - Performance and Maintenance - System. "System Properties" is displayed.
3. Select Hardware tab, and open Device manager.
4. Open Universal Serial Bus controllers, and select USB Mass Storage Device or WALKMAN NWZ-XXXXX.
5. Select Action - Update Driver ... from the menu bar. "Welcome to the Hardware Update Wizard" is displayed.
6. A dialog on Windows Update connection will be displayed. Select No, not this time., followed by Next.
7. Select Install from a list or specific location [Advanced], followed by Next for the hardware install method.
8. Select Don't search. I will choose the driver to install., followed by Next for the search and install option.
9. Check Show compatible hardware, and then select MTP Device* in the model list, followed by Next. The device driver is installed.
10. "Completing the Hardware Update Wizard" message is displayed, and confirm "MTP Device" message. Click Finish.

Good luck!

Thanks.

Cant sync songs on my shufle ipod

Hi,
I tunes is looking for a hard drive so that it can sync. Try downloading the iPod shuffle utility restore tool. It is just for iPods and it is free. After you download it and install it in your computer, start it, plug your iPod into the computer and it should restore it to factory specs. You may have to try it multiple times - just be patient. I hope that helps.

Ipod nano and Sony Walkman wont work?

Since you are having issues with both players, I would suspect that your USB port may be less than 2.0, or may require reinstalling the drivers (Go to start --> control panel --> system --> hardware --> Device Manager --> USB Controllers --> Reinstall Driver to correct). Double check with Sony and Apple - they will be of infinitely more help to you than Dell. It is possible that your devices require SP2 of Windows XP - double-check on that. Apple and Sony's websites are chock full of good information - they may be having the Windows Media Player 11 compatibility issue for which a firmware upgrade can resolve.

boogie31 - Go to Windows --> Control Panel --> Printers and Other Hardware (I am assuming you are using Windows XP) --> System --> Hardware Tab --> Device Manager - see if any devices under Universal Serial Bus Controllers have a yellow exclamation mark by them. If so, then double click the device and select the "Drivers" tab in the next window. Then click on Update Drivers.

nikes - Use your transfer program (Windows Media Player, Media Monkey, etc) to select the Properties or Advanced Tag Editor option - then you will be able to change the language. Give me your program name, and I can get more specific.
