I have a Panasonic CT-30WC14J and when i try to turn it on, it just makes these clicking noises inside the TV, it makes a sound like its trying to power on a motor, and then the red light flashes intermittently.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The issue seems to be with the power supply unit, the issue can either be due a blown fuse inside and/or the high voltage transformer. Also the power supply board should be checked by someone who has electrical expertise. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Tv won't turn on at all

no remote but tv was working with front power key? unplug from ac outlet and plug back and listen for any type of indication (noise or chirp) that something energizes inside if theres nothing then suspect a power supply problem, main fuse blown, shorted low volt rectifiers other components could be at fault.

Tv shuts off tv/video doesnt work

that is a indication that a fault is about to occur, dont force that tv take it to a technician before it switches off completely, a power supply is supposed to be checked.

My tv won't turn on...

The sound you can hear is the power supply starting then finding a fault and shutting down this cycling trip indicates a fault condition which need a technician to solve.

I think maybe the G-board needs to be replaced. A TV shop will have to repair it. They normally start around $200.00
