Hi, There was a paper jam at the heat rollers which caused error code H5-01. I have tried entering service mode by pressing P * C *, but nothing happens. Is this the wrong sequence for this model? Please help. Thanks, Laura

This error is caused due to faulty thermister however; you can check the fuser unit for any jammed paper around the upper fixing roller and try to clean that area. After this is done try to clear the error by entering the service mode, to enter press Additional functions, #. Then go to #7 Printer and press OK, then go to #4 printer reset and press OK, yes= *. If the issue returns then replace the thermistor. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

This code means that you had 3 or more jams at the heat rollers that weren't removed. The machine had to protect itself and locked you out because more paper jams in this area will cause damage to the fuser unit. Inspect and remove the paper jams. Press these 4 buttons within 4 seconds P * C * it will ask for simulation number, enter 14 and press the black and white copy button, follow on screen instructions. if i remember it says execute and the copier will restart.........you may have to press the CA key to exit simulation mode.

Thanks for using FixYa. Error E007 means there is a jam in the Fixing/Fuser Assy. Error E007 is related to a non-detection of the Fixing Film/Upper Roller, the fixing film sensor didn’t detected the rotation of the film for 6 sec or more while the fixing motor is driven. Please check the condition of your Film also check the green handle in this area for paper jam removal if it is broken or removed, may also cause this error. If everything is fine then try clearing the error by entering the service mode, you can do it by pressing *(star), then press 2 and 8 keys at the same time & then press *(star) again.

Now press COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR, to clear the error code.

H4 indicates a heating problem in the fuser. The roller never reached a specific temp. Make sure the fuser is free of any left over paper pieces (maybe from a paper jam). Check to make sure its clean.
Try reseting the the error in service mode.
To enter the test command mode, press the keys as
follows one after the other :
[#] key [*] key [C] key [*] key then enter 14 and press start/copy key. this clear error counter. make sure to restart copier afterwards.
