How do I format the Sandisk Ultra 30 mb/s 16 gb for my Kodak Easyshare camera Z650 Thought it should have been already formatted for camera use.

Your camera, only can hold MMC and SD cards. SD cards only go to 2 Gbyte, but be aware most 2 Gbyte cards now in the stores are already SDHC. And those you also can't use.
So try to get a real SD card for this camera.
I did write lots of things about SD, SDHC and SDXC cards, so feel free to search some and read them.

Easyshare z981has stopped taking pictures, eaven tho installed with new 34 gig card

Is it a 32 or a 34 Gig card? Does it say SDHC or SDXC?
because the SDHC should work, but the SDXC can't work in your camera.SDHC cards go to max 32 Giga byte. Above 32 G, it is SDXC.
Please don't forget to format the card in your camera the first time you put it in the camera.
Don't trust a format done in the computer. Or even formatted in an other camera from the same brand or same model, can cause trouble.

Memory card says full when i put new sd 2gb card in card won't work on my kodak easyshare cw330 camera

I was checking to see if your camera had a limit to the size of SD memory card and couldn't find a thing so what I suspect is that the SD card lock has been engaged here is a diagram to show you how to unlock it.

Also any new memory card needs to be formatted in the camera before the camera can "read" it.
After pictures have been loaded to the memory card and then downloaded to the computer the memory card needs to be formatted to clean the old pictures off and make the memory card ready to accept new pictures.

I have a kodak easy share 740 digital camera...I bought a new 4 gig memory for it...but when I put it in...it says it has to be formatted..you click continue ..and it brings me back to the it needs to be...

This assumes it's a Z740.

The Z740 is designed to work with SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot it won't work. You need to go with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

SDHC Card 4 GB SanDisk will not format. get

The Z740 uses SD cards, not SDHC cards. SDHC cards will physically fit into the card slot but are not compatible. It's a hardware incompatibility, not updatable in firmware. You'll have to stay with 2GB and smaller SD cards.

make sure that the memory card you bought is a secure digital (SD) memory card. the kodak memory you have might not be an SD card.

Need more mp

Hello,
My son has the same camera with a 1 gigabyte Sandisk sd card. This allows him to store about 200 pictures at full resolution. The cards are very inexpensive. Here is a link to a 1gb card that is $8.28 on Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Secure-Digital-SDSDB-1024-Package/dp/B000I5ZC3W/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1210104172&sr=8-2
If you plan to take small movies I would get a 2 gig card. Videos use much more memory. This one is $11.88 from Amazon"

Costco also has great prices on SD memory.
Important:
Your camera will not accept cards larger than 2 gigabytes.
If that helped please rate me well.
Take Care,
-WN

New SD Card wont work - all the others I have do!!

I believe any SD cards larger than 2Gb are technically SDHC cards, which are not compatible with all cameras. Kingston is a decent company so I'm guessing it's not because the card is a dud. If your camera doesn't advertise SDHC compatibility then I don't think you can get the card to work in it.
