I don't know exactly what this file does, but it sounds like it part of the boot process. What you need to do is find your operating system recovery disk (download a .iso and an iso burner if needed)...Then restart your computer once the computer cuts right back on look at your options...you are looking for boot menu (some of them are hidden) and if it is hidden, you need to go into setup and unhide your boot menu option. Then restart and open your boot menu, once that is open...boot from the recovery disk! once the recovery disk loads, there should be a repair option...click it and try to repair it this way. If all else fails, you may have to reinstall your whole windows (unlikely tho) :) Hope this helps, message back if you have problems...Please Rate :)
