Question about Heating & Cooling

Open Question

When my Mitsubishi air conditioner SRK40CE is turned on for around 30min, the timer light will start flashing for around another 30min, then it will automatically turned off. I tried turning off the timer mode and every other way, the problem persist, wondering what's wrong with it.

a/c units have ways of protecting their major components. if you have a freon leak it could be shutting down on low pressure safety switch. or it could be overcharged with freon and be shutting off on high pressure, although high pressure safeties usually have a manual reset. therefore a low pressure
problem is more likely

Timer light flashes twice on my asta09lcc but it wont work

If operation light is normal and timer light flashes twice, the error is:
Serial signal (reverse) error, at operation start up
Most likely a faulty outdoor controller PCB. Around $250 for new board plus labour.

Air Conditioner cannot be turned on when power-light is flashing

The flashing light is a delay timer, usually activated when changing from heating to cooling and visa versa. The fact that the unit can only run from certain times shows that the timer is activated. You need to cancel the timer function on the remote.
