Question about Brother DCP-7040 Laser Printer
This can be achieved by re-setting the counter chip. The Chipset can be found on the left-hand (usually) end of the cartridge as it faces the printer for insertion. New ones can be purchased of the web. They can be 'tricked' by removing the cartridge while the printer is un-plugged although this method is not always successful. In some instances, there is a small fuse that needs to be replaced. This is blown once the cartridge is removed (or in some cases when the unit is installed).
