Question about Fossil Metal Chronograph Silver Dial FS4250 Watch for Men

Open Question

RE: Fossil FS 4250 Reseting the chronograph, the minute had indicator does not reset to zero (60). It resets at 1 minute. I am able to reset the chronograph second hand and watch second hand, but not the chronograph minute hand. Instruction manual states "If the stop watch hands function improperly, pull out the crown and press A and B at the same time for over 2 seconds. When the buttons are released, the stopwatch second and 1/10th second hands will spin around and return to "0". This will indicate that the internal circuit has been reset." Pushing A and B do NOT cause spinning or resetting of these items. Do you have any suggestions or an "e-manual" for this watch? Thanks, Jim

SOURCE: Reset Stopwatch Hands on CL1111 ?

Try setting the crown to position 2 - i.e. the position normally used to adjust the date.  Then use the top and bottom stopwatch buttons to adjust the minute hand and 1/10th hand respectively.

SOURCE: the watch stops instead of the chrono

On this type of watch the second should not be working unless you are in the chrono mode. The lower dial should be the only indication of the seconds when not in chrono mode. You probably need to have the chrono reset and shown how the functions work. Try a Fossil location they will be able to tell you how to work this watch. It does not sound like this is a major problem.

Reset chronograph

Hi, I had the same problem and was able to fix it by reading the manual:

Basic Settings for the chronograph hand -
After changing the battery, or in exceptional circumstances, following incorrect operation, it is necessary to reset the Chrono indicator to zero (starting time).
- Leave the winder in Position 1 (pushed all the way in)
- Press button H (top) and button I (bottom) at the same time
- Now set the 30 minute (small hand) counter to zero by pressing/holding button I (bottom button)
- You can now set the 60 second counter to zero by pressing/holding button H (top button).

This worked for me... it took me a while to figure it out, but that

Fossil ch 2470 watch. I have no idea what the extra little dials are for on the face and how to set them. Please help

The dials are part of a Chronograph (stop watch) I assume there is a second, minute, and maybe a date function. Usually the large second hand is part of the stop watch on only moves when you start the stopwatch (top right button) push again to stop and reset back too zero is the bottom button. Usually to set or zero out those dials pull out the crown to the first click (also sets date) then push the top button to set the seconds (big hand) and the bottom button to set the other. sometimes you may need to pull the crown out to the second click (also sets hour and minutes) to set add'l dials. This is generally how you set most chronograph watches the button you push and what moves may be different.
