Question about Samsung Washing Machines
The lid is not closing properly to activate the lid reed switch or the switch is not working at all. You should hear the switch clicks when the lid is closed. You may place a strong magnet over the lid switch on the front right hand side of the lid opening to make sure the reed switch activates and make the washer work. The lid magnet is weak and needs to be replaced if the reed switch activates with the strong magnet. The reed switch needs replacing if it still doesn't activate with the strong magnet.
