Question about HP DeskJet 970cxi InkJet Printer

Printer is not printing at all.

When I used the original HP ink catrige there was no problem. After I used the generic Ink Cartige about Six month then problem start. I uninstall the driver and reinstall the driver but did not work. Some one told me that I need to change the Printer Head. But I don't know where to get it.

If there is any other solution, please let me know.

    Hello

    I've just found this problem as I have the same problem, I had my ink cartridge re-filled and it only prints in pale blue!!!!!!

    Does this mean I can only use HP cartridges?

    If so would I be better off replacing the printer as they're so cheap now and then I would be able to use refilled, and therefore cheaper, cartridges?

    I have the same problem.
    I got the cartridges refilled (in Bangkok to buy a replacement original is hugely expensive compared with salary levels) and the writing at first came out blurry, it then came out blurry and blue and is now not coming out....



    I bought an original replacement as well which I will try after looking around for other options.

Thanks very much.
It resolved itself - I took the cartridge out, wiped it, wiped the part of the printer that it slots into again and it was ok.
If I were not earning local wages, I would be happy to buy an orginial one - as it is though, it is a huge chunk of salary.

Use only original cartridges. that will resolve the issue. nowadays companies are resorting to these tricks, that if you use generic/refilled cartridges, the printer wont work.

If that is ok then check the driver whether it is install or not.............

I have brother DCP-115C printer i put new ink catriges and try to print the printer give me a message '' near empty mgent ''what to do ?


This message is printed because the ink of mgenta color is missing or cartige is running out of the ink. If u have put new inks then check whether they r inserted properly or not.

Ink is not showing up when I print but the cartridges are full


Hello there!

Did you used that catriges before and refilled them now?
IF you done that, somethimes ends of catriges(their holes) can be stucked with jonized colour and they can close the path of your catridge ink to your paper. You need to do regular cleaning, take a bit of alcohol, make it be about 20% alcohol 80% water, put on a little peace of rubber, clean your catridge "lenses" and try again on your Printer.

If this is not working then concider that your catriges maybe are out of ink.

make a very small hole on the cartrige where there are stickers to pour ink. some times the track holes are blocked and cartige cannot make the ink gravitate down on paper because of negative pressure in catrige if above procedure fails , pour a little asopropane alcohol about 10 drops with a ink syringe, this will dilute the thick ink
the holes on the head are blocked some times so apply isopropane alcohol rub the cartige very gently on a isopropane tissue paper .even a face cleaner which has isopropane on it can help you..i mean tissues with isopropane
you also have to **** the head like just what we do for writing ink pens when the ink dries our\t

Black ink is not working but cartridge is full.


You may need to remove the protective sticker, if you've done that already, try cleaning the print heads, they sometimes get clogged... Best of luck!

Printer Ink wont work!


HI~ First Check your ink..if you using compitetor ink or CISS ink , Remove The Rubber that are in the Ink Cattridge there, Coz When the print head **** the ink from catrige with pressure it will stuck the print head from spraying the ink out...  After Remove those rubber that are on the ink catrige you need to clean it to release those presure that build coz of those ink catrige build....                                                   If it dont work your print head need to be purge and you need to get in Maintenance mode...then coz you are using generic ink it maybe have spray to other part of the printer the ink Sensor is very close to ink absorber and the Generic ink usualy leak coz the design are not good but it is cheap and you need to know how to use it...

Ink cartridge problems


The printer is working again - I exchanged the ink cartridges yet again, and finally the printer accepted them. Still don't know why the problem developed.

Printer won't print


u refill the catrige? if u do this the printer don't work because the catrige has abloody chip that count the ink, and when the ink finish the chip blocks or burns. so try whita brand new catrige.
