You have to press the button on the receiver then press the other button on the underside of the mouse.or if your receiver doesnt have a button then just press the 1 under the mouse.

Keyboard will not work, have put new batteries in , it will not synch with the reciever

Hello lapsteelkid
Check at the back of the keyboard if the batteries are correctly inserted ( and not back to front ) .
Check if you have pressed the connection button on the keyboard AND on the mouse .
Also check the mouse battery or batteries and it's connect button .
Ccheck if there isn't a connection button on the receiver .
Check the USB connection on your pc .
If it still doesn't work , one of the components is defective .

fanaudi .

The mouse does not work at all. I put in new batteries and still does not work. I had problems with my computer and since that is fixed the mouse does not work.

Hello, Allow me to try to figure this out here.

Your saying batteries and mouse so may i assume this is a wireless mouse for a moment?

Okay once you replace the batteries in the mouse you need to unplug the little transmitter from the computer, Reboot, Then plug it back in.

This would allow it to re-sync being that its infra red or otherwise.

So try that. Take out the little transmitter thob, reboot, plug it back in, the mouse should be working again.

1.Check the batteries are they in backwards?
2.Check the battery connectors inside,

Now if this is a IMAC or something like that quickly let me know!

Thanks for using I hope this was very helpful.

Mouse will not charge when put in the base

I have a very bad solution about this, but it works on my mouse that also doesn't work. Try to put a tiny bit of water ( or spit Oo ) on the little, usually copper, receivers on the mouse. That makes for a better contact. Just get your finger wet and touch those receivers.

Battery Replacement

IF this does not work please find the model number of your mouse.

The upper portion of the case, behind the buttons, should slide back to reveal the battery compartment.

On the bottom of the mouse, where the area to put your USB is, there is a tiny little button that has an image of a battery (it's really little). Push that, and the covering that houses the batteries will pop up. You can then remove the covering easily.

If you found this helpful please remember to leave a testimonial!

How do i put in the battery?

Most regular size cordless mice have the top rear half slide off for the battery compartment as in this picture.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Problem with LOGITECH S 510 cordless keyboard and mouse..

I have this same keyboard/mouse set and love/hate it when the batteries die. After you change the batteies, power on your pc, press & hold the connect button on the bottem of the keyboard first and then the connect button on the transmitter. Release them and wait for a few seconds. Repeat the same steps for the mouse.

When I have connection issue with this keyboard after new batteries, I have found most of the time the problem is the connection to the pc and/or batteries in wrong. Good Luck

Mouse broke :(

Look on the mouse and on the receiver, there will be little buttons to 'connect' them. The battery may be weak, try a fresh one.

I assume you put new batteries in you mouse. You may already know this, but give it a try. On the back of the mouse is a small reset/connect button. Press it and see if the mouse starts working. If it doesn't, then press the button on the receiver and then the button on the back of the mouse. When ever batteries are replaced or the mouse fails, this is the procedure to try. Hope this is of some help. Bud
