No heat, just installed, is there a reset button ?

Recheck your wiring and make sure that you properly reconnected everything you disconnect during the repair.

And how about the pilot light? Did you light that? If you have pilotless ignition check that circuit for operation.

Gas dryer. won't heat. replaced ignitor sensor. still won't heat. seems that a valve is stuck closed (auto-valve), which is it? hold or ass't ?

The glow igniter should light up and after a delay the sensor will click and turn on the gas valve. If the gas doesn't flow and light the cycle will repeat.

Most likely you need a gas valve coil kit. The coils get weak and wont open the gas valve.

Dryer won't heat. How can I keep troubleshooting?

You may have to get a new heating element when they go out the jet dryer where the heat comes out will not work normally this is caused buy a bad heat element. If not take back panel off and check the little white fuse and replace it, Almost all dryers are the same in that area.. Hope that helps....

My Kenmore 60 series gas dryer will not heat up. I checked the lint trap and it is clean. How do I open the front panel to check the pilot light?

Some dryers have a small inspection hole covered by a small platic cap.
Remove cap and look inside unit for pilot. Newer dryers have an igniter that glows when the dryer is turned on. It ignites the gas then goes out.

No heat to dryer

it mean it dont have a gas pilot and it has a ignitor instead ,,,, if you turn on the dryer and dont see a glow then it may have a bad ignitor ,,, on a kenmore it should not have a door to open unless it is a old unit and the newer ones has a peep hole to see into.
