Band is too big. how do i remove links?

mcdevito75 here, generally the links are held together with pins, for this you"d need a link remover tool, Best Bet is to have a small watch repair shop remove these links, hold onto the removed links in case you need them again.

Shorten the length of a Kenneth Cole "New York" watch band

With the watch on your wrist, check to see how many links need to be removed from your watch. Your watch should fit comfortably on your wrist. Remove the extra links with your paper clip or push pin.To remove the links from your watch, press on the small pins with your tool that are holding the links in place. The watch band should now separate allowing the pin to become free, and you can now remove the pins first and then the links one at a time until you have removed the desired amount of links. Reattach the watch band when you are done removing the links. To reattach the watch band to your watch, simply fit the end links into each other. To complete the resizing, use your push pin to re-insert a joining pin.

I am trying to remove 2 links from a ladies indiglo watchband

mcdevito75 here, To remove the links from any watch band requires a special tool called a Link Remover tool, available on ebay. You can remove the links without the tool but the time and work, just isn"t worthit, even with the tool if you don"t know anything about watches, your best bet would be to look for a small watch repair shop in your area , and have them remove the links, hold onto these links in case you need to ever replace them.

Remove links from fossil metal band

The links most likely need a tool that will push the pins out so you can adjust the bracelet. This can be easily done by any jeweler or watch store. You can also order these types of tools online to do it yourself at home. Please do not attempt to remove links without the proper tools as you will not be able to remove them and you will also damage both the bracelet and the pins.

Remove links

It really depends on how your watch-strap is designed. If it is a rigid one with arrows on some of the links, you may find the answer here:

remove links

There are other models with links held together with small split-pins. You have to push them out in the direction of the arrows as well. This works fine using a sewing needle with a broken tip.
